<p>As you continue to seek partners for your initiative, you will need to explain your problem of practice and your Initial Action Plan to others. We want you to <strong>create a targeted artifact that is communicative, easily shareable, and reflects your enthusiasm.</strong> This artifact will be a 1-page document, video, or something else that you feel is an appropriate medium to communicate your project.</p>
<p><strong>First, choose the stakeholder that will be the target audience for your artifact.</strong> This stakeholder could be one person like the principal of your school or it could be a group, like parents of 6th grade students. </p>
<p><strong>Next, consider: How can you make this stakeholder excited about your project? How can you make them see that it is valuable and important?</strong> The answers to these questions should shape the design and content of your deliverable. </p>
<ul>
<li>Remember your audience and make sure your choices reflect their needs and interests. </li>
<li>Don’t include every detail from your assignment work; choose the most important and relevant information and then streamline and summarize as needed. </li>
<li>Make sure your problem of practice is as well-defined as possible and that the stakeholder can get a clear idea of how you’re planning to address it. </li>
<li>The way you present your artifact is important. Consider formatting, wording, colors, images, etc. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Share your artifact with the target stakeholder, or a colleague at your school (or elsewhere), and get some feedback on it.</strong> Let your reader review your work without interruption and then ask him or her a few questions about it. These questions may vary depending your context. We recommend asking about the content (Was it understandable and reasonable considering the school environment?) as well as the format (Are the main ideas clear? Is there certain information that should be more prominent?). </p>
<h3>Your <strong>final deliverable</strong> will be: </h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>A 1-page document OR brief video (2 minutes or less) OR other artifact that is targeted to a specific stakeholder and reflects your problem of practice and pertinent aspects of your Initial Action Plan.</strong> Be creative and selective regarding what you include and how you communicate. </li>
<li><strong>A 1-paragraph reflection on your experience of sharing your brief summary with your colleague.</strong> Also, include some changes/improvements you would make based on the conversation. </li>
