<h2>WEEK 3 OVERVIEW</h2>
<h3>Material for this Week:</h3>
<p style="font-size: 15.555556297302246px;">This week's material will consist of three learning sequences relating to the pn junction and the semiconductor diode.</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">pn Junction at Equilibrium:</span> In the first learning sequence of the week, we will study the behavior of carriers in a pn junction under equilibrium conditions</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">pn Junction Under Bias:</span> In the second learning sequence, we will study the behavior of the pn junction under both forward and reverse bias.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Diodes:</span> In the third learning sequence, we will explore the derivation of the Ideal Diode Equation, and we will consider the behavior and applications of real diodes. </li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Homework Assignment #3:</span><span style="line-height: 1.6;"> Homework Assignment #3 is available this week. You must complete this assignment by June 21st at 13:00 UTC</span><strong style="line-height: 1.6;"> </strong><span style="line-height: 1.6;">in order to receive credit for the assignment.</span></li>
