<h2>WEEK 2 OVERVIEW</h2>
<h3>Material for this Week:</h3>
<p style="font-size: 15.555556297302246px;">This week's material will consist of two learning sequences relating to Carrier Action and a Homework Assignment:</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Drift and Diffusion:</span> In the first learning sequence of the week, we will study fundamental ideas in carrier action: carrier drift and carrier diffusion.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Recombination and Generation:</span> In the second learning sequence, we will study the principles of recombination and generation, including the time dependence of carrier concentration and the positional dependence of carrier concentration at steady state.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Homework Assignment #2:</span> Homework Assignment #2 is available this week. You must complete this assignment by June 14th at 13:00 UTC<strong> </strong>in order to receive credit for the assignment.</li>
