<p style="font-size: 15.555556297302246px;">We are coming to the end of 3.15x. This is the last week that introduces new material. After that, all we have left is the final exam, which we will provide additional information about in a few days. Thank you to everybody who has participated. <p style="font-size: 15.555556297302246px;">This week's material consists of two learning sequences, an Exit Survey, and your final Homework assignment. </p>

<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Data Storage on Hard Disks, Part 2:</span> We continue our discussion of data storage on hard disks. We begin by considering the magnetic data storage "trilemma". Then we we discuss the application of magnetoresistance- AMR, GMR, and TMR- to readback heads. Finally, we discuss the use of magnetoresistance to create Magnetic RAM.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span class="s1" style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6em;">Optical and Magnetooptical Storage:</span></span><span style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6em;"> In this learning sequence, we consider both fully optical and magnetooptical data storage.</span></li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Homework Assignment #3:</span> Homework Assignment #3 is available this week. </li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Exit Survey</span>: Participation in the Exit Survey is completely optional, but we would appreciate your feedback!</li>
