Module summary

This module is an introduction to health research and surveys. It will focus on the purposes/uses of health research and surveys, types of research designs and topics of interest in health research. In addition, we’ll discuss health surveys, the most commonly used approach to study health and provide examples of important international health surveys. We will then provide an overview of the steps in designing and conducting a health survey. Subsequent modules will focus on many of these steps in substantial detail.
