<p>Think about the school district (or another educational organization, if necessary) that you're a part of right now and look at the following questions in sequence. <strong>Pick at least 3 answers for each question</strong> <strong>and write those answers down on sticky notes or on the quadrants of a piece of paper.</strong> Keep your answers to brief words or descriptions. </p>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>What would you say are a few signature strengths of your district?</strong></span> <span style="font-size: 1em;">Think about the things that you, your parents, your students, your faculty are most proud of, the things that you feel like you've made the most progress on, the things that make you smile. </span></li>
<li><span style="color: #ff9900;"><strong>What are a few learning outcomes for the students in your district that are especially important to you? </strong></span><span style="font-size: 1em;">What are the qualities that you most care about your graduates having?</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #008080;"><strong>What are a few major initiatives, of any kind, that are going on in your district right now?</strong></span> Answers will differ depending on the school district. Maybe your district is focusing on increasing project-based learning opportunities or introducing technology like iPads. </li>
<li><strong><span style="color: #99cc00;">The most promising potential innovation for improving teaching and learning in your school is ____________.</span> </strong>You could spend days thinking about this, but just capture the first few thoughts that appear in your mind. </li>
